Eleanor Kee Wellman

Eleanor Kee Wellman has been photographing wildlife in Canada and internationally since 1992 when video was her medium. After about 5 years she moved to 35mm film format and in 2003 to Digital SLR.  Her goal is to capture the essence of an animal as it goes about its daily life. She spends many hours waiting for things to happen and many days trying to find a particular subject.

Through presentations, gallery exhibits, displays and publication she works to illustrate the importance of conservation. By preserving and enhancing habitat and helping wildlife rehabilitators she hopes that others will appreciate the necessity of wildlife in our daily lives.
